Over the last four years I have been monitoring which variables in my day-to-day life that affects my blood sugar. I found many variables that affects my blood sugar and over time I tried to factor them all into my insulin calculations, but over time I found that there is one single variable that overshadow all the other variables on my insulin calculation and that is the variable carbohydrate-to-insulin ratio.
You can calculate your carbohydrate-to-insulin ratio by monitoring how many grams of carbohydrate and how much rapid insulin you consume per day.

In the graph above the blue line shows my day-to-day carbohydrate-to-insulin ratio over a two month period from September to November 2022. The graph is calculated by calculating a 72 hour average (sum carbohydrates 72 hours back divided by the amount of rapid insulin 72 hours back)
